◆授業のねらい及び学習教育目標 　学問には国境などありません。いろいろな国で生み出された知識を、自分なりにこなすことが必要です。 　特に現在の心理学には、英文で発表された知識が非常に役立っています。 　英語が好きな人も、そうでない人もいるでしょう。言葉はなれですね。日本語だってなれているから、自由に使えるだけでしょう。 　オーストラリアの高校生のテキストを使って、心理学についての文章を読んで見ませんか。 　自分のできるペースで進みましょう ◆授 業 計 画 　受講生が順番に以下の内容の文章の訳をしてくることが授業の内容です。 どうしても訳せない所は、質問して下さい。 また英和の辞書を用意して下さい。 1.Normality and abnormality 　A.Difining abnormal behaviour* 　*イギリス英語なのでbehaviorがbehaviourになっています。このテキストはすべてイギリス英語です。 　　1)Violation of social norms 　　2)Statistical rarity 　　3)Maladaptiveness of behaviour 　　4)Personal distress 　　5)Deviation from an ideal 　B.Explaining and treating abnormal behaviour:a brief history 　　1)The supernatural perspective 　　2)The natural (scientific) perspective 　　3)Modern views of abnormal behaviour 2.Intelligence 　1)What is intelligence? 　2)Is there a general factor of intelligence? 　3)How is intelligence measured? 　4)What is an IQ? 　5)How are IQ scores distributed in the population? 　6)Is there a genetic basis for intelligence? 　7)Are IQ tests reliable? 3.Personality ◆成 績 評 価 　平常点です。試験やレポートはありません。 ◆テ キ ス ト 　テキストの代わりのコピーをさしあげます。 ◆参　考　書 　使用しません。 ◆担当教員から一言 　いろいろ質問しましょう。メールも利用してください。　hayashi@shiraume.ac.jp
